Something is moving in Detmold
Detmold, 19.07.2019 - Early this morning heavy equipment arrived to bring our new EMAG VL4 lathe to Hall 3. The vertical lathe with integrated pick-up automation creates additional capacities in the hard turning operation for our series production.
The VL4 complements our existing line for the manufacture of 4 different gears for our customers in the passenger-car industry. We therefore now have two identical VL4 lathes at our disposal to process work stocks which are built up in the upstream system by the faster soft machining processes such as pre-turning and gear hobbing.
